S*Nelliot's siamese & oriental shorthair|
Latest update: 2011-12-01 Hi! How nice of you to drop by! This is a small cattery in Gothenburg, Sweden. I have a three oriental shorthairs - grandma Tintin, mommy Lily and auntie Sammet - and two siamese boys - the kids Mac and Bus. My mother is providing a good "retirement" home for my two domestic shorthairs Eliot and SKitty. How it began
Our family has always had pets - birds, fish, a rabbit and a guineapig. When I was six years old we got a dog. It was a collie bitch named Candy. I always wanted a cat, but Candy hated them, so it wasn't possible. When I was 18 Candy passed away. It was very hard for me and our home felt very empty. To get another dog wasn't an option. At that time I learned that a friend's family cat was going to have kittens again. I decided in half a second, I was going to get a cat. I was still living at home and my mother was very sceptical. She said that cats lacked personality - not an uncommon misconception. I stood my ground and soon Eliot, a black and white domestic shorthair, arrived. He wrapped my mother around his little paw in no time and now she is very attached to him. He acctually lives with her today. When I left the University of Karlstad and moved to Gothenburg
I decided that Eliot should have a friend. I contacted Animal Wellfare and in January 2001 Nellie moved in. She was white with big, black spots. Sadly, I lost her to kidney failure in sept 2003.At this point you should know where I got the name "Nelliot's" ;-). Current eventsI have a few shows coming up in the near future. This weekend is my club Ädelkatten's show and I'm showing Sammet, Bus and Mac on Sunday. In January I'm visiting a friend in Uppsala to attend his club's show with Sammet and Bus, and in February it's time for GRK's Valentine's Day show in Mölndal where I'm bringing the whole trio again.![]() Feel free to drop me an e-mail if you have questions and please sign my Guestbook before you leave.
